The record player drops records fine and the 8 track plays great. We had it hooked up to Erwin Vegas and they rocked. This system has been cleaned and oiled and a new idler wheel installed.
A new belt has been installed on the 8 track and all systems have been tested and play great. Tape and phone are handled with a switch in the back. Original manual and 45 spindle is included.
This is a powerful little unit. Up for offer is a wonderful vintage 1970 Magnavox model 1V9052 solid state, am FM AFC record player and 8 track shelf system in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. There are two plastic feet missing and a couple of bangs in the wood but nothing serious. This system is a heavy wood cased super retro styled bedroom or living room system with a small but fully functional turntable and 8 track below.
Measures 17 tall x wide x 13 deep. If you added the two realistic speakers I am selling, you would really have a fine sounding vintage system but this console plays and sounds fine for a shelf system. The am FM is super retro and pulls in stations very well. There is a smoke colored door that opens to reveal the controls.
Here is a very unusual retro system ready to use. This unit has been gone through and plays very well.
