Adjusted the platter speed appropriately. Adjusted and aligned the new needle. This player is a fully contained hi-fie system that includes automatic record fabricated in England featured 4 speeds 16,33,45,78, two detachable very loud and clear speakers, headphone jack, tone, loudness, balance features. This unit smoothly activates the tone arm and disc changer plays all records at correct speeds consistently over time.

This defect does not impact the play of records on unit. A section that broke off at one time has been repaired again see pic cleaned and lubricated all moving parts.

This unit closes itself into a compact but hefty 32 pounds carrying case, with the power and speaker cords safely tucked away inside provided access ports. Cleaned the surface of record player, including platter, frame, controls, tone arm, and assembly. This unit has a super clean case, both inside and out, that shows negligible signs of wear. There is not another unit like this one currently on or other vintage electronics sites.

I personally have run short stacks 3 of LP's, 45's, and 78s through this it performed perfectly every time. Lifted the unit base and checked mechanical functioning of. Cleaned the tone arm and assembly lubricated where it was needed.

This record player was the flagship for portable stereophonic players at time that it produced estimated to be between sound clear, however, because needle old and brittle, I replaced with a new one, unit sounds just amazing now. Cleaning the fabric on speakers which were dusty and dirty. The black platter pad has become stiff and brittle over years edges have curled up slightly see pics.

10p244 in the Beebe finish and is 4th production run of this series. Cleaned the needle cartridge, and replaced old with a new one. Cleaned and polished the face plate knobs that were dirty.
