It did turn on and play music.
This is a older item. The video shows the functionality of this machine and how it sounds.
This item does not work perfectly and will most likely need some light repairs or calibration once received. Items damaged during shipping do not qualify as returnable items, and should be handled as damaged items. The inside looks nice though.
I did plug this in and test it out. The arm hesitates a little bit before going to set the needle on the record.
I think this is a rare unit from Magnavox as I did not see much info on it in my research.
The speeds change when the knob is switched.
Great for any collector or enthusiast.
The sound is very rich and pure. The exterior of the box does show signs of ware and storage from the years.
