I bought this from the original owner on grisliest about a year ago-he it new around 1982 or 83. I replaced the power supply plug apparatus with a new one. Needs rca plug repair on red.
Winner in lower 48 states pays 49. Needs screws for the lid to anchor back of hinges. I have done this before. The cartridge sounds very good-i thing it is a shire or grad-not sure, but almost as good Ottoman 2m blue that I have on another turntable.
I would suggest replacing both rca cables with more audiophile and jacks for better performance anyway. He had replaced the belt. Excellent working condition except for the broken rca plug and screws missing from back of lid.
Shipping plinth and lid are in nice condition. The lid opens and closes without screws just fine, but it would be better if was anchored by. I cannot vouch for the condition of needle tip with absolute certainty, but it sounds fine to my ears. 33 and 45 speeds-speed is spot on.
