It might just need to be taken apart and oiled or since the phonograph is not fully functional, it is being sold for parts. The Elac electroacustic miracord xa 100 phonograph was a high end piece of audio equipment in its day. Arm is normally locked up if I manually cycle the arm from the bottom and it will work.
Drive motor works and responds to 3 switch speeds. Phonograph does play but has issues with the tone arm. Phonograph does not have original record pad. Phonograph has cartridge pickup.
Made in west Germany. This a mono not a stereo phonograph.
