Cosmetic condition is well used. Fantastic tube tone. I provide clear, good quality, pictures of the item and strive to accurately represent every sell.
I cleaned it up quite a lot but its never going to look new. Not noticeable when playing music of guitar. It has a record player and also 3 hi z 1/4 inputs for microphones, as well other radio tape etc.
The tubes have all been tested and replaced as needed. The date code of indicates that 12 speakers were manufactured by oxford in 44th week this type unit is typical what was used schools, churches, and other commercial applications. The pots and switches on front panel were serviced with top quality contact cleaner so they operate quietly no unwanted scratchy noises.
Guitar was ran through all the mic inputs and they sound great as well. Works great. Replacing filter caps etc.
I take care of the service maintenance routines and cleaning so you don't have to do it or pay done. The strobe speed indicator works most of time, but bulb can be intermittent. The does have some noticeable hum that can be heard when it is idling.
Average at best. Listings with free shipping applies to lower 48 states only.
One of the speakers rattles if you really get on it when playing fairly loud guitar with lots bass, so made need replaced at some time. I am an experienced shipper and will package this unit with care.
The original rubber platter mat has hardened over years, so I crafted a foam to fit on top of it.
The motor was cleaned and oiled, main platter bearing re-greased, idler wheel treated to rejuvenate rubber extend its life. As a guitar it sounds awesome.
Offered here is a working Newcomb model TRS-1680 transcription record player. Perhaps traveling the countryside playing square dances. Not sure what the issue is there.
The record player works well. All of the inputs on front panel were tested.

The covering is worn through in a few places which would lead me to believe that it rode around someones vehicle. Just for fun, I connected some audiophile stereo speakers to the amp. The tube complement is as follows: 4 el84, 1 5u4, 2 6an8, 3 12ax7.
It required a great deal of service to get going. It shows quite a bit of wear to the covering, but has no structural damage. I will do my best to answer as promptly can. I ran some iPhone music through the radio tape aux l r and it sounded fantastic.
Will probably be needed eventually. This is the earlier version with curved tone arm, which seems to be preferred.
