The mechanism was completely disassembled and all copper components have been cleaned and polished, then reassembled, lubed and adjusted to the proper specifications. All tubes were tested and replaced as needed and all test strong. A brand new preinstalled cartridge with cantilever stylus with diamond tip for 45's LP's and a sapphire tip for 78's has been installed which has been bridged for mono play, so you can play your vintage vinyl or the more modern micro groove records.
New motor grommets and linkage grommets have been installed. The push pull amplifier has been completely rebuilt, replacing all electrolytic and paper wax capacitors. These model's were available in maple, limed oak mahogany wood en cabinets. This player has clear loud volume with full rich sound.
These multi speed players were designed by Rca as a tabletop model and came with optional legs to turn it into a consoled. This mechanism cycles smoothly laying the tone arm at the beginning of the record and picks up correctly at records end. The cabinet retains its original finish and is in my opinion in near mint condition. It also automatically adjusts the index of the record size, 7 for 45 rpm, 10 for 78 rpm, and 12 for 33 rpm.
