There are a few scratches here and but overall this little record player cleaned up very well. The needle is good - I just finished playing both sides of an deep purple album and it worked fine. The lid still seems to stay on very well, so it may not be a big deal.
Up for sale is this great vintage 1960s Rca solid state ac cordless portable phonograph player little gem plays 33s and 45s has a neutral turntable setting also, like pause. Also uses 6 batteries to go cordless. Approximately 14 x model VP 16n, in dandelion yellow one closer tab on the lid is broken. It didn't stall, wobble, or play fast.
The volume and tone knobs could use a cleaning - they make scratchy sound when you turn them. Last photo I tried to glue it back on but didn't hold. Will send that little piece along in case you want to try gluing it - also shown the same photo is a glue run on lid.
