I have used and tested this record player for about an hour just recently before listing. It has several issues pertaining to use and due its age could develop other operating at any time. It does not have a 45 adapter. Size about 15 x 8 inches.
Case has wear but is sound and sturdy. I took the underside screen cover off and could see that it has tubes. The first time I plugged it in hummed very loud but did not hum after other plugins. It will not automatically drop a record but instead you put on and manually move the needle arm over.
It is vintage and in as found condition, was lightly cleaned, will look even better if properly cleaned. I have limited knowledge on this type of item so may not tested all functions. I will package it as best can to prevent shipping damage.
Perfection is not to be expected in cosmetic appearance either.
It will play records of 33, 45, and 78, I do not know about the 16 setting, but am making no judgement as to quality operation. I am no expert on this item. The cartridge has a flip switch on front to adjust needle for either 78 or but it seems play all speeds best setting. Perfection is not to be expected in the functions that I test.
This is sold strictly as a repair project unless you want to just display it as-is. It has a large built in speaker and I got sound from. It has working volume control but some crackle noise which got better the more I used it, you might want to get a new needle cartridge for.
Weighs about 20 pounds this is a neat looking vintage collectible item best suited for someone who will appreciate its looks rather than flaws in operation.
