I have been using a Nagoya mp-30 and an audio technical at155lc both work exceptionally well on this unit. The turntable does not include a cartridge stylus needle. 5 but with those things in mind I would rate it at an 8. The overall condition is terrific and were it not for cracks at back of very heavy acrylic dust cover would be a that said if you like to ensure something regarding packing please let me know I will do as ask.
It has a 7 pound platter and provides wonderful constant speed which gives terrific rhythm tempo to my albums. This unit works well and sounds wonderful but it is around 50 years old so sold as a vintage there no warranty.
The auto return does not function due to a worn out small plastic piece that gets tripped under platter when tonearm reaches lead groove. It has the original tonearm and head shell from what I have read online is a medium mass arm so should work well with most modern cartridges without issue. I always used it manually since the more complicated mechanism risks audio fidelity.
