Theres a latch release on the top portion of player that when closed. This record player has been tested and does power up work.
The entire player is from a hard plastic type of material and theres no cracks chips knocks anywhere that we could find. This is a vintage Westinghouse record player that its great excellent shape and condition. Its 120 volts 60 Hz 15 watts .

If you press on the latch it releases main record player unit which then folds down to sit firmly a table for playing of records.
