This little unit really pulls in the am stations. The power brick isn't included. The video was taken with batteries installed.
It is also quite loud for such a little unit. See the last photo above to label. Up for sale is this estate rescued Westinghouse portable am radio phonograph which runs on batteries or ac power. A great phonograph with am radio ready for your next picnic.
It works and sounds great. It weighs just 3 lbs without batteries installed. We aren't positive about the model number as label inside of battery compartment has deteriorated over time. It now works great.
It also has a storage spot that snaps into so doesn't flop around when is being moved. Inside we cleaned the motor and oiled it, then re-surfaced drive wheel, adjusted spring for a consistent speed, put dots on platter to prevent record slipping, sprayed out controls so that they don't crackle when used, installed new cartridge stylus player, battery contacts gave it complete test. This unit has been repaired and serviced.
You can see it in this YouTube video available here: s: youth. Be this unit was very dirty and wan't working when we recovered it. This unit measures just x 8/3 with the handle folded out.
It takes 4 size not included. The record player has an auto shut off when tone arm is moved all of way to right. The only problem we see with this unit is that cover missing one of hinges and both latches so it doesn't stay attached.
As you can see there are also some cosmetic problems with the outside of case.
