It does have a bit of hum or buzz while its on, but can only be heard when theres no music playing, just for half second after shuts off - probably needs some cleanup electrically. Vinyl is coming back at least somewhat, and they're selling these cheapo Chinese crossly retro junk heaps.

I'm happy to oblige. I pack very securely, but have heard horror stories and experienced one. Why buy a cheap knock off when you can have the real deal. Plus, I don't think you're going to see anyone else with one of these. It has some bumps and scars consistent with being a 50ish year old portable that was god knows why carried from place.

Each speaker has about 2' of wire, and the speakers fire up into plastic cones that disperse sound - quite well, I might add. I was walking around the mall with my kids not too long ago and went into Faye. That's why I say portable.

Each speaker is 8x8-1 2 x13 its surprisingly big, measuring 33 x9 x15 fully closed up. I have pictured the 2 worst spots, which don't at all detract from look of this piece. I can only assume the date based upon its ultra cool styling, can't find any information on it anywhere.
