The control panel has a very cool metallic plate that houses knobs for l and r stereo channel sound. The stack of Records play automatically and perfectly, machine turns off after last record plays. The record changer operates flawlessly and smoothly in all functions.
If you lift the record stack hold arm and leave it in up position, repeats play of on platter. This model psychedelic retro was a very limited run made by Columbia Records back in the day, and is hardly ever found beautiful working condition. In fact, I remember our high school English teacher bringing this to class and playing the my fair lady soundtrack LP on it 1972, as we were studying Pygmalion.
There is a storage clip on the control panel for holding spindle when not in use. It plays 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm. This baby operates like it was just bought, and is hard to believe that more than 47 years old.
It would be excellent for any film producers looking props from this time period that need authentic stereo items era. The 78 PMS were especially cool. It was her own machine, and even then as the class watched open set up, I thought what a cool little machine.
This sweet little baby plays beautifully, and is equipped with a bar high quality record changer precision made in great Britain. Christmas is almost here, and this would be perfect for a record collector or audiophile to find under their tree. Very rare model wow.
Vinyl Records are back, and it is very cool to have an authentic machine from back in the day play your treasured on. Amazing working condition. This machine was not used much, and kept taken care of.
This is the stereo record player that you would find in Mary Tyler Moore spin off show Rhoda, Rhoda's attic apartment with beads doorway. So very nostalgic, and a rare find in beautiful working condition. It has a two channel solid state amplifier, with matching satellite speakers made in japan. Masterwork solid state stereo phonograph made by Columbia Records from the early 1970 era.
Merry Christmas. We played some 78s and 33 rpm LP's on it, it functions beautifully. The record player plays at proper speed for all speeds, and platter turns smooth strong without any noise. The color is far out, and way cool with its psychedelic fuchsia mod paisley design.
This would be awesome to play being Crosby's white Christmas on. Everything works and it has a new needle just installed. The spindle is portable and snaps in place for operation. This machine is totally portable and small enough to take anywhere.
The wires are all nice and supple, controls show very little signs of use. It is in exceptional condition for its age. Things were made to last back in the day, and this is one of them. Perfect for record collector shows.
