We connected our speaker to the output and it did not disappoint, producing a loud clear audio with no distortion.

Believed to be made in the late 70's, this was one of Califone's nicest model's, a real high quality, all metal turntable with a top line features. There are a few spots where the dings have taken little bits of the vinyl with it, nothing more than 1/4 though so it's not unsightly. Guaranteed to operate as described.
