Feet are on shock absorbing springs. If you can't accept that then don't buy this machine. It will play a 16 disc and has the Rhee extended range concert loudspeaker. It has a microphone input jack.

You can adjust the turntable speed microphone volume turntable volume bass treble speaker looks fine. Attention I do not have a disc to play so didn't have a way to check that. This is a vintage Califone tube type turntable with a remote wired speaker.

The turntable is variable speed and works fine. It is not a cheap lightweight unit. This is the big daddy, model director 12v 9. This unit weighs 26 pounds before packaging.

Came from a church, so probably has about 1 10th of the use a school machine might have.
