All the electronic components were checked and faulty ones replaced. There is also an auxiliary input to connect a CD player, mp3, phone, iPod, or whatever. With the length of cabinet and weight towards middle, it was starting to sag in middle making gap when speakers are closed uneven.
When the speakers are on cabinet, connection is made through hinges. The turntable is a Gerard auto slim PO. The system was totally serviced. The headphone jack works great also.
The tuner is an fm-19 with MP-78 multiplex. Very nice vintage Fisher tube stereophonic in excellent working condition. The system was made in worst mark is shown photos on top of one speaker.
I no more want these beautiful vintage pieces to get damaged than you do. The turntable was disassembled and old grease removed it re lubricated. The cabinet was really in very good condition for its age. The original speaker cords were bad so I made new 12 foot for each.
There is actually a switch to turn the speakers off when listening headphones. Theres speaker jacks on the back of unit then to plug wires into. The system is very neat. There were a few very minor marks that I had touched up.
A standard removable universal power cord. I also put cork on all 5 points the bottom. The block remedied that. It includes an x-19 amplifier with ell80 output tubes.
Only a character mark. One hinge is positive and the other negative on each speaker. The speakers are removable and theres a hole in lower hinge with jack.
Any questions feel free to ask. All of the bulbs were changed. I removed the death capacitors and installed a 3 wire cord. The mat for turntable had dried out and I was not able to save it, so is original.
It includes all of the original components which I replaced. I actually added a wood en block as 5th foot to the of base. I had downloaded and printed a service manual with parts list, alignment procedure, full schematics.
