All new rubber has been installed, including an idler wheel from vim audio enthusiasts, new cam wheel tire, motor grommets, and chassis cones have been installed. The hardware is all present and in good working order, the hinges are tight and the lid to the cabinet properly, the closing latch stays closed until the release button is pushed in the lid support is also tight and keeps the cabinet lid open until its time to close it.

The cabinet which is made of black Bakelite is in near mint condition, with no chips, cracks or deep scratches. Please on the link below to see this player in action. This model was an updated version of the famous and great selling 45ey 3 which was produced from 1950 through 1954 and featured a dark brown Bakelite case and the typical gold painted mechanism deck with red spindle cap and black tone arm. All tube sockets and volume control were cleaned and treated with exit.

After the amplifier chassis and turntable were removed, the cabinet was hand washed, then it was hand waxed and buffed to a shiny almost wet looking finish. I have installed a new spring to the carrying handle so that it springs flush to the cabinet correctly when not being carried.

The 3 tube amplifier has plenty of power to drive the 4 x5 built in oval speaker. You usually find these with either broken or loose and sloppy carrying handles. The amplifier has also been completely rebuilt replacing all electrolytic filter capacitors as well as all wax paper capacitors that historically leak after this many years. The mechanism deck retains its original paint also in near mint condition, which is a light nickel color and is accented by the gray matching spindle cap.

Be i4whtrkvni8. Also installed is the famous Willie Bosch low rider cartridge, which allows you to stack between records at a time which has replaced the obsolete crystal cartridge. All resistors were tested for proper tolerance and replaced as needed.

This model the 6ey 2 had a very short production run, which makes these very sought after. Not this one. For your consideration is a highly collectible 1955 Rca 6ey 2 45 rpm record player.

It was then reassembled, properly lubed and adjusted to the manufacturers specifications. It produces loud clear volume. This is not a high fidelity player, but a good sounding player indeed. The mechanism was completely disassembled down to the last screw.

Each part was cleaned in lacquer thinner to remove all old grease, then each part was polished with fine steel wool, so that every piece is smooth and free moving. The nipper logo is present in the interior lid with great graphics, the metal Rca victor script below the speaker grill is present and in nice condition as well.
