The 2000e-LLL is also fitted with Ortofon's Wide-Range Elliptical (W.R.E.) stylus tip, which allows for excellent tracking in the inner groove and provides a smooth transition between the inner and outer grooves.
The 2000e-LLL Empire Stereo Cartridge Needle-Stylus is housed in a low-mass aluminum body, which reduces the weight of the cartridge, further improving tracking and reducing the risk of damage to your vinyl records. The cartridge is also equipped with Ortofon's Replaceable Engine System, allowing for easy and cost-effective replacement of the stylus unit when needed.
In conclusion, the 2000e-LLL Empire Stereo Cartridge Needle-Stylus is a high-quality, high-performance audio component that delivers detailed, balanced, and natural sound. This came with a 698 in excellent condition, and is one of Empires best, my opinion.
Can't say if it has seen use or been mounted, and is being sold as-is, for parts repair. It has the needle, which looks good under magnification, a needle guard, removable standard bracket should p-mount be preferred, and two brass fixing screws nuts, nylon. It looks quite good for its age, and the photos have made small scratches mild tarnishing appear greater than if seen with eye. Many thanks.
