My only disappointment was the diamond in stylus worn down to point it wouldn play so would obviously need be replaced. This table is a bit newer than what I normally deal with 1970s my normal, but when saw this beauty, had to check it out!, When say museum quality, I m not using hyperbole here polished the wood veneer mirror finish, any distortion or irregularities are reflection of foam its sitting on, absolutely no scratches, loose corners, pops. There is a slight bit of orange peel, but c Mon!!, I also buffed the dust cover to near perfection holding it up in different lighting will reveal few light scratches, amazing for 30 year old clear piece plastic!!, put through its paces, and all auto functions, as well search features work perfectly. If you re looking for basically a 30 year old new Denon turntable, this is it.
