It would probably benefit from a new needle and routine maintenance per included copy of owner's manual works as is and sound is decent. The right rear rubber cushion is loose did not want to open up to tighten. The turntable base and dust cover exhibit normal signs of wear, with a few small chips and scratches in the wood veneer, some light scratches and one heavier scratch on the dust cover top, and a hairline crack in the dust cover near the left hinge.
Markings Yamaha yp 701 serial number approximately 20 pounds, unpacked. I've owned this one for several years mostly sitting doing nothing. I combine shipping whenever safely possible.
Sometimes mail delivery is slow, no matter what carrier I use. Up for your consideration a nice working Yamaha yp 701 turntable, equipped with a stanton 681 cartridge. Footnote on shipping I usually use USPS priority mail and FedEx.
