There are light scratches on the dust cover, but it still retains its gloss. All functions appear to work and the turntable sounds very nice. Yamaha 220 semi automatic belt drive turntable w mount cartridge.
The arm will auto return at the end of the record, or if you press cut. The plinth is clean. You cue the cartridge and move it to the record.
These caveats aside, in my own experience, vintage audio equipment that has been working for years is quite robust, and likely to arrive in the same condition as it was in when shipped. Their vintage turntables are considerably nicer than today's entry level model's. The arm is Yamaha's optimum mass straight tonearm, a low mass tonearm with a light weight removable head shell.
The cartridge has no model designation, but looks similar to an audio technical the belt is in good shape and speed accuracy is good.
Yamaha made very good turntables in the 70's and 80's. The 220 is x 15 x and weighs 13 lbs. The turntable was manufactured in the early 80's.
Condition cosmetically, very good. This is a semi automatic turntable.
The hinge assembly is heavy duty and very well designed. Package by ups ground.
There is a record selector. Then you release curing to play.
