I do believe if you plug 120 vac into this bad things will happen. I was able to power it with a variable dc transformer. It says 8 volts ac on the back. The matching receiver is being sold now on.

After that it worked and sounded great. If you are electrically inclined may be able to figure this out. My instructions are to heed the manufacturers warning on back. I dialed it in until the platter spun.

Very nice turntable - light and simple plays records great but it needs a power supply dust cover. It was made to tie in with a matching receiver special plug for the Ty.
