We ve shipped many turntables and always separate the platter cartridge from turntable. In cases where the dust cover can be removed without damage, it is also and isolated from other turntable components. It includes a radio shack Rx 1500 cartridge.

The dust cover has no cracks but does have some minor scrapes as would be expected for an item of this age please see pictures. Everything works as it should.
