The balance knob isn't working right and cuts in and out as I turn and wiggle it around. Table squeaks while turning, and the speakers have a constant hum buzz that grows louder when I touch some metal portions of the unit, as if an internal speaker wire is touching the metal frame. It can still have issues getting up to speed or performing the reject feature, but it seems to be working a lot better now.
Other knobs seem to work but produced some crackling in the speakers when I first started turning them. The most noticeable flaws are the several places on the cabinet's covering that have been scuffed scraped off. I had to turn the speed up to max and give the table a few spins before it started to take off and work. The unit is in good solid condition.
It may fix itself after internally cleaning the mechanism with some electrical contact cleaner. Functional condition turntable works but needs a tune up to get fully operational and working smoothly. I plugged external speakers into the back and the left right rca outputs do produce sound.
