Cons:1. Sound quality: While the ST-783 delivers decent audio, it may not compare to high-end turntables and receivers in terms of clarity and detail.

Conclusion:The Track Player Empire ST-783 Turntable and Receiver is a good choice for those seeking a stylish and versatile music system with Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated phono preamp, and a vintage aesthetic. However, if sound quality and power are top priorities, users may want to consider higher-end options.
Recommendation:If you're a casual listener who values a retro look and the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity, the ST-783 could be a suitable choice. However, audiophiles may want to explore other options with better sound quality and more advanced features.
This would be a great unit to restore. Vintage Empire receiver with turntable and 8 track player model st 783 I think this is a rare receiver. I hooked it up to 4 speakers and it sounded good in my opinion.
I put in a 8 track player but it would not play. The record player needs a needle, so I was unable to test the turntable. Keep in mind that I do not know alto about stereo electronics, so there could be other issues I am unaware of. So the 8 track player does not work.
There is no other like it currently on that I could find. MP 8 track stereo receiver the different modes available with the selector knob include am, FM, FM MP, phono, and tape. I am not a expert on stereo electronics.
There is a tuner knob, volume knob tone knob, balance knob, and the selector knob I have done my best to explain this unit the best I know how.
It did turn the record though. The unit itself seems to be in very good used condition. By buying, you accept these risks.
I am selling this unit as is. It says on front of receiver am. This unit is being sold as is.
