Details:

The amplifier seems to be working as I was able hear both speakers when touching stylus with tip of my finger. The turntable is not working and will need to be repaired. Motorola SP-26-B tube stereo portable record player up for grabs. The platter tries to spin at times especially when speed knob is between settings but does not move once selected.

The case is solid and all latches work as they should. Its a great project and these bring big bucks in working condition. I have no idea what it will take to fix so its being sold as is with return.
