The curing lever is working fine, so this is a nice, manual table. A new audio techno AT95E cartridge and stylus needle has been installed. It is heavy, has a nice, thick, heavy platter, and tall, vibration dampening feet. It is truly a nice cable, about 7 feet long.
The motor runs rock steady, with the pitch controls being close to the middle of their settings. There is a crack that has been repaired very well in the left front corner of the dust cover as pictured.
It is a very nice, foil shielded one made by firepower. It must have gotten into a bind, and gorged out the hole where the gear mounts. It was one of Sony's better tables. This one had a problem with the main gear under the platter.
It also has a nice, thick, solid rubber mat. It could not be fixed, so the gear was removed, and the table was fixed to where it reliably operates in manual mode only. This caused the gear to not complete the cycles.
A new rca cable has been installed. I have experience with shipping turntables. Here is a nice looking, and great sounding table from Sony. This turntable is clean, and ready for years of use like it is.
