Details:

All outputs were tested and have audio on stereo quad setting. None of the inputs were tested. I was told that this turntable is unique in the cd-4 decoder built right into.

The lid is in good condition with some minor scratches that can probably be buffed out. I was able to do some brief testing this unit and is what have found. Please examine pictures to determine exact condition for yourself.

The tone arm will need a new correct needle because it is worn and sound little scratchy distorted when you play record. This turntable has been well cared for thru the years and looks it. The base is in very nice condition with only minor signs of wear.

It will automatically send the appropriate signal quad or stereo to your receiver amplifier. This listing is for a very rare Panasonic SL-880 cd-4 quadraphonic and stereo turntable that in nice vintage condition. Powers up and mechanical functions seem to work fine platter turns freely. I am not familiar with these type turntables and no other testing has been performed.
