3. **S-shaped tonearm:** The S-shaped tonearm design helps to reduce tracking errors, contributing to better sound quality.
4. **Adjustable Damping Control:** This feature allows you to adjust the turntable's response to feedback, giving you more control over the sound.
**Cons:**1. **Price:** The SL-D303 is a mid-range to high-end turntable, which might be priced out of reach for some buyers.
2. **Heavy Weight:** At around 16.5 lbs, the SL-D303 is quite heavy. This could be a consideration if you plan to move the turntable frequently.

**Recommendation:**If you're looking for a high-quality turntable and are willing to invest in one, the SL-D303 could be a worthy addition to your setup. However, if you're a beginner or have a smaller budget, you might want to consider other options that are more beginner-friendly and cost-effective. It's always a good idea to research and compare different models to find the one that best fits your needs and budget.
Dust cover is in good shape but the platter clips for it are missing. I did take the back off to find a gear out of place but performance was same when put in. It does power on and the platter spins to accurate 33 or 45 as selected but non of auto features work. No head shell or needle included.
I bought this with my fingers crossed and lost. One could gut some of the inside mechanical parts to make a manual high quality turntable or repair working condition.
