Pros:1. High-Quality Build: The turntable features a heavy, die-cast aluminum platter and a solid rubber mat, which reduces vibration and ensures a stable, accurate playback.
2. Adjustable Speed: With three speed settings (33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM), it can play a wide range of vinyl records.
3. High-Resolution Audio: The turntable is capable of producing high-resolution audio, making it suitable for serious audiophiles.
4. Dual USB and RCA Outputs: The dual USB output allows you to easily digitize your vinyl records, while the RCA outputs can be connected to a home stereo system.
5. Easy Setup: The turntable comes with a built-in pre-amp, making it easy to set up and connect to most stereo systems.
Cons:1. Price: The Russco Studio-Pro Broadcast Turntable is relatively expensive compared to other turntables in its class.
2. Learning Curve: Due to its professional-grade features, it may have a steeper learning curve for beginners.
3. Size: The turntable is quite large, which may not be ideal for those with limited space.
4. No Automatic Stop: The turntable does not have an automatic stop feature, which means you'll need to manually lift the tonearm after each playback.
Conclusion:If you're a serious audiophile looking for a high-quality turntable for studio or home use, the Russco Studio-Pro Broadcast Turntable is a solid choice. Its high-resolution audio, adjustable speed, and dual USB and RCA outputs make it a versatile option for a wide range of vinyl records. However, its high price and lack of automatic stop feature may deter some buyers. If you're a beginner or have limited space, you may want to consider a more affordable and compact turntable.
Recommendation:If you're willing to invest in a high-quality turntable and have the space for it, the Russco Studio-Pro Broadcast Turntable is a great choice. If you're a beginner or have budget constraints, you may want to consider other options, such as the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB or the Jensen JTA-230.
This is a no return item, but if you watch the video, you'll see it works great with all restorations that were done. This is a brand-new shire stylus. I didn't think it was that big a deal, since you can't hear in the audio. I'll answer as best and quick I can.
I added the tonearm after acquiring turntable last year. The paint does have some chipping and scuff marks. The complete story is in video.
It deserves. I was using them for shipping, but found a big piece of Styrofoam that seemed to fit the underside perfectly, and still letting motor hang as it should. I tossed in the yellow felt pad that is video. I added a stereo rca cord for the audio, so you can just plug it into your mixer or preamps.
I added a regular 2-prong plug so you can just it in the wall pounds worth of metal. Just on that time, and it will take you right to point in the video. I really want this turntable to find a good home.
Up for sale is a Russco Studio-pro, model b turntable from motor was oiled and platter shaft re-greased. If not, toss it. Idler wheel was lubricated too.
It is 45 years old. The video is a tad long. The idler does have one small divert in rubber. If its that important, you can get replacements online for under 40 dollars.
It tells more in depth. It was originally hard-wired into the Studio. If you can use it, great.
The wood en legs on turntable are not being shipped. You can't hear it in the audio. If you want to get certain points in the video, i've added timing short-cuts below comment box. The entire unit was then wrapped in plastic to keep speed lever and things place for shipping.
The tonearm is a recount micro poise model. The stylus is back in its original package and taped to rear, left corner of turntables upper side.
