I was curious about the spring remaining in spec over time so checked it with a simple shire balance and on money. No corrosion or paint missing except for a tad on the steel spring. All moving parts and adjustments operate smoothly.

I checked for continuity and shorts between connector in shaft head shell pins. Very good condition.
