A few new lead wires had to be soldered into the head shell.

Does not include a cartridge or stylus. I do not know how to fix this issue and have since purchased another turntable. Read the following before purchasing turntable has been tested and is fully functional but it some issues.

This is an extremely nice turntable with a great sound but as I said before do not know how to fix it. Ariston was a hi-fie company the likes of limn sundeck during 1970s and were actually produced in same place at one point so lot similarities can be seen their products. The turntable produces audio from both channels but main issue is that there a slight speed fluctuation creating wow effect. First off the tonearm was bent when I purchased it so straightened out and treated with a small amount of urethane based adhesive to keep sturdy.
