It includes the original power and audio cords, its box with inner packaging. To play a record, you first have push the button raise tone arm. This is being offered as is, and with no warranty. I have played dozens of records over the last few weeks, and it Hans't skipped a beat.

This offer is for a used, vintage Sony, PS-242 automatic, direct drive turntable.

I do combine shipping. They work like new.

As far automatic, Sony should have billed this semi automatic. It is true direct drive having no belt. Over time, the original needle had gone bad, so I installed a new diamond prior to this listing.

It functions as should and sounds great. The owner operating instructions are missing. I purchased this Sony in 1980, and used it up until the year as tone arm is being moved, motor started, platter starts to spin.

Flip the record over, and repeat above process. Its been in storage ever since, and now time to pass it on for someone else enjoy. The hinges for dust cover were repaired using two part epoxy where springs broke through plastic. So you finish listening to the music on side one, and then automatic part kicks in.

Also, there is a piece of electrical tape covering small nick in the outer insulation on one audio cord, and left side rubber foot missing from dust cover. Then by hand, you move the tone arm to left, until needle is over record.
