Step into the world of high-fidelity audio with the Pioneer PL-D15II Direct Drive Turntable. This impressive piece of equipment, a follow-up to the renowned PL-D15, promises an unparalleled listening experience, crafted for audiophiles who demand nothing but the best.
The PL-D15II's direct drive motor ensures smooth and stable rotation, providing a consistent playback speed that is free from the speed fluctuations that can mar the performance of belt-driven turntables. This high-precision motor is supported by a high-torque design, allowing the tonearm to reach the desired speed in a mere 0.3 seconds, ensuring quick and efficient start-up.
The turntable features a high-sensitivity cartridge, the MQA cartridge, which is able to reproduce the original sound of the recording with stunning accuracy. The MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, an industry-leading innovation, enables the turntable to play back the original master recording quality, even from a compressed digital file.
The PL-D15II's design is as impressive as its performance. The turntable boasts a heavy, die-cast aluminum platter with a damping rubber mat, reducing resonance and ensuring a clear, vibration-free sound. The reinforced steel chassis further reduces vibration, while the damping feet ensure stable placement on any surface.
The tonearm on the PL-D15II is a work of art in itself. With an 8.6-inch S-shaped tube and an ultra-precise universal mechanism, it offers excellent tracking and stylus control. The tonearm is also equipped with a high-quality counterweight and an adjustable height and azimuth mechanism, allowing for precise adjustments to suit your specific cartridge.
The Pioneer PL-D15II Direct Drive Turntable also includes a built-in phono equalizer, enabling direct connection to your home stereo system. The equalizer offers several selectable settings, allowing you to fine-tune the sound to your personal preference.
In conclusion, the Pioneer PL-D15II Direct Drive Turntable is a testament to Pioneer's commitment to quality and innovation. Whether you're a seasoned audiophile or a newcomer to the world of vinyl, this turntable promises an unmatched listening experience, bringing the warmth and richness of vinyl records to life like never before.

Some discoloration on the arm and hinge chrome from age. If the arm is already in the rest and the platter is moving when you press stop, it will lift the arm and drop it before stopping the platter, unlike other tables that may stop immediately. It doesn't affect play. Belt drive brand new belt, curved tonearm, working auto return function.
