The plastic cover does have some scuffs and scratches from normal wear. The player has a good 2 way needle and plays as it should as I have tested it with a 33 rpm album. It has a good 110 power cord also it has its own phono connectors to connect to your receiver.

This turntable plays 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm.

It also comes with a 45 rpm adapter.
