Conclusion:The No.1246 Silvertone Tube Record Player offers a unique, vintage aesthetic and warm, rich sound, making it an appealing choice for music enthusiasts. However, its partially restored condition, limited features, maintenance requirements, potential limitations in sound quality, and size and weight should be considered before making a purchase. If you're looking for a classic record player with a distinct sound and are willing to invest in maintenance, this record player could be a great addition to your collection. If you prefer modern features, ease of use, and a more precise sound, you may want to consider a brand-new model.
Its been the first of month since I worked on this one so honestly can't remember if everything works or not. Could use a good cleaning.
It does have a needle that play but don't remember how good is - probably not very. And I think the tubes are good know platter turns properly as it should. I do remember putting a piece of wire where c clamp went to make it work properly.
