The tape plays fine but speakers cut out when buttons are pushed. The idler wheel needs replacing. The turntable needs the most work.

It needs a needle but picks up sound. They fit the size of the unit perfectly. Up for offer is a wonderful super rare mid century styled 1960's solid state bookshelf stereo am FM radio phonograph tape player made by Ampex.

This unit has been sitting and has the usual issues that need fixing. This was meant to sit on a shelf or table and extend the speakers out on either side. Both speakers sound great and measure 12 wide x tall x deep.

Super 60's styling. It looks to have been well taken care of so now you just have to deal with normal age issues. The case is in great shape with folding door and drop down turntable. The main unit measures 32 wide x tall x deep.

This is a great rare vintage system and possibly and easy restoration. It plays but the buttons all need cleaning.

The radio plays and picks up stations fine and AFC works great. This is the model mx 1000 with two external wood cabinet speakers.
