This is not a turntable to be taken lightly. It has a good dust cover that has some scratches but is structurally sound with no cracks or breaks of any kind. Rca output plugs and ground wire are built in.
The manual cuing allows you to easily move the tonearm from one track to another without lifting the arm by hand or touching the arm when it is in contact with your record. I take pride in my fast shipping. The turntable is in excellent working condition.
This unit was made by Mutsuhito and could be compared to a technica turntable also made by Mutsuhito. 33 and 45 PMS. It features a dynamically balanced straight tonearm fitted with an audio technica magnetic phono cartridge, and an anti skate device to counteract the natural tendency for the tonearm to pull toward the of the record.
It is a 2 speed table that runs perfectly at 33. All functions work fine. It is a good, heavy piece of audio gear.
Speed is adjustable and perfect speed can be verified via the illuminated stroboscope. Offered here is a Mcs turntable, direct drive automatic return audio technica cartridge new stylus. It is a direct drive model where the platter is actually part of the motor see pictures.
The unit works fine without it but still, it needed to be mentioned. The only other issue with the unit is that the clip on the top of the tonearm rest is broken. It has a manual cue device and auto return and shut down at the end of play, or you can touch the stop button to end play early.
There is never a belt to change or idler wheel to wear out because the platter is the motor.
