The same as it was made in germany back in the day time period. Obtained from the original owner who bought it new while in the army during the vet Nam war era. Or start the first record, while it's playing, stack the second record, then it works fine.

The cart needle works perfectly. Working united audio Dual 1019 stereo turntable, vintage 1960's, made in germany. The 33 spindle may need some lube. But if 2 records are stacked on it, it drops both.

Be 6 please scroll to right and view all the picture before buying, and read the entire. But it does shut off and return the tonearm to stand, if the selector switch is moved to off manually. This player works, will drop one record, and play it.

I also played it through the sans 1000a tube shown in video, and it sounded even better than the pilot 602m. This is a rare original that has not been restored, over restored, or messed with in any way. This player is equipped with rpm speeds, and a speed control to adjust it either way by 6 to dial in the exact speed by ear.

Excellent sound. You won't find a more original Dual 1019 easily on. Large ac motor plays with very low wow flutter.

It is the quick change type that drops off with a latch for easy replacement. The cartridge and needle are worth about 100 alone as a collectors item piece. It has both the original oem Dual 33 78rpm and 45 rpm stacking spindles, the original shure m75e d19 quick change cartridge with spring suspension and rs eb stylus needle, patch cords, and tinted dust cover.
