It has been proven that a good modern solid plinth will improve this quality, real hi-end turntable. Rotated by hand, the platter runs smooth and quiet. Looks like a demo unit. Delectable voltage s: vac, 60 Hz.
It still looks nice and strong. The cartridge is still original but I have not examined or tested stylus. This excellent vintage turntable barely shows any signs of its age.
Helpful information and resources are available on the net. No dust underneath the platter or on mechanism. This unit is in fine working order.
I may be able to locate the idler wheel for you. The 4 speeds are responsive.
I plugged in the power and tested all 4 speeds work fine. Quiet motor with good torque. But when the mechanism is engaged there a grinding noise.
Classic swiss turntable with original tonearm and head shell, original cartridge included. Fine and precise swiss technology in all its details. Solid exemplary construction, clever minimalist and elegant design. Almost new.
