Details:
Alternately evenly turn the screws clockwise until flush with turntable. Power switch problem as noted above. The turntable works well and so do dials for bass, treble, balance, loudness tuning.
The amplifier has output on all 4 channels. Good cosmetic condition, a little dusty. 4 ohm speakers will more heavily load the power amps. We did not check this channel out though.
These early era solid state amps were easy to blow out with overloads and short circuits. The tuner knob works just fine and stations come in clearly. The switch handle does operate but it no longer switches power off.
I would be careful about this. Am fm stereo checked as described above.
Zenith apparently thinks you can turn up the volume OK with 8 ohm or higher impedance speakers. Receiver works great. This is a very cool top quality vintage Zenith allegro quad channel stereo that was my mothers who music aficionado.
No check done on 45's. The only problems with it that cause to be described as non functional, for parts is speakers are missing and power switch broken stuck in on position.
