Volume control is a little scratchy when first turned on, but clears up with few twists. The radio portion also works well and pulls stations in nice with pull out antennae. The whole unit has been cleaned by hand and is in excellent condition.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. This a very well made piece and is large heavy almost 20lbs. A few scrapes on outer coverings, some pitting in the chrome handle base, but whole interior is near mint.
Battery contacts are clean with no corrosion. I'll assume it needs a belt if uses one. Check my other listings this week and save on shipping with multiple items. And like I said previously, its in real nice condition.
Heres portable player you probably haven't seen before. First time for me.
That's right, 4 speed. In most cases, I will combine items to save you money. Its a cool portable am fm cassette with 4 speed automatic turntable.
I have never heard of a 16rpm record before, but this on will play them. You probably won't find another one on. Upon testing it, the automatic turntable is fully functional and plays fine, 33s do drop automatically, unit shuts off when last one played, sounds good through decent quality detachable speakers.
The cassette however, does not work. I can hear a motor running inside, but tape does not move.
