I do try to describe items accurately and take pictures that document condition. The automatic function does not work. This record player has been tested and works but has issues.
As evident in the pictures separation is noted on the corners, but the base is still structurally sound. That may have originally come with the item are not included in the sale if not pictured or described. Vintage Garrard 640S record player. Speed will not switch.

The record player is a bit dusty dirty. The needle is used but played my test records well. The dust cover is missing the brand label and shows scratches.
The base shows wear in the form of scuffs and scrapes from normal use and storage. Works but need repair. However, I am not an expert. Note works on 33 rpm only.
The record has to be started manually but plays well on the 33 rpm speed.
