So I have to give some up. It is actually a GA407, not a 427, as I saw this on a sticker after I removed the platter to inspect the plinth. And no frills operation. My loss is your gain.

I have had problems with this in the past, so please, please I ask you, message me for a shipping quote before you bid.

It also needs a new belt which can be purchased online for about also the picture shows the headpiece housing an old ceramic cartridge. Please look closely at the pictures, they show the good condition of the item. However, if I recall correctly, the gear inside the counterweight is damaged and will not slide properly on the arm's track, but this should not prevent you from adjusting the counterweight where you want it to be. I got this at an offer in Montreal back in 1990.

It's worth it this turntable, despite its simple looks, has a good sound, low noise but isolate it from vibration. The turntable Hans't aged much since, except the original needle is gone, as I recall the cantilever was so weakened it just broke off one day.

It was my first serious turntable. I can leave it there, but it's a ceramic cartridge.
