Sure to please. Turntable is in good cosmetic condition with some scratches and wear to case, but nothing unusual for its age. Philips model GA-202 electronic stereo turntable, as shown.
I have been through the deck and lubricated cleaned its drive path components, it functions pretty well. I have heard this is the result of an aging capacitor in switching circuitry, but repair goes a little beyond my technical abilities. Unit plays at 33, 45 and 78 rpm has little speed adjust dials that have proved very handy when dubbing records.
Winner must add 30 for pack and ship via FedEx, fully insured. One ghost in the machine: sometimes when I push stop button, drive will until release button and then it right back on again.
This on off issue doesn't often happen, but when it does, is the decks one temperamental behavior. Made in holland the late 1970s, I think. Speeds are steady and operation is all quiet, plus the deck stops as it supposed when reaches end groove on a record. A very nice deck indeed, and guaranteed to be as described here.
Otherwise, its running same as the day it was made. Dust cover is in excellent condition, with only light scratches and no cracks or breaks anywhere.
Comes equipped with a stanton 500 cartridge and an aftermarket 78 rpm stylus. This is what I have mainly used deck for, although expect it would be quite excellent as a 33 rpm player well.
