Requires 4-AA batteries you can actually connect this to cable tv by using a 1/8 plug in threaded coax connector if have any questions, please let me know. Tv screen powers up but was unable to receive a decent signal picture. Vintage Sony FD-30A black white watchman tv and FM stereo radio with tilt stand telescoping antenna battery compartment needs corrosion residue cleaned but was able to briefly test it out. Fm radio works fine, internal speaker may be loose but it has output.
