The turn table rotates with little belt noise, and all speeds change properly speed changer knob 16, 33, 45, 78 rpm. Also depressing this knob engages and disengages the record player function.

It also has a recorder output jack to record into device, and I have no means of testing this feature. The tone radio-phono knob adjusts beautifully. Cosmetically, the unit is very good for its age.
Functionally, the record player is in very good condition side locking latches are great and carry handle perfectly attached strong. The radio station frequency knob does float properly across frequencies.
The otter shell has no significant flaws volume is loud and rich. One playing a 45 rpm and another 78 needle is included mounted on tone arm. The radio powers up with a hum when selected, but no stations can be received. There is a needle adjustment feature that swivels from 78 rpm to position.
The volume knob works very well with no dirt scratch or popping. No musty or mildew smell.
