It is in very good condition. The automatic switch turns sound on and off, which I am not sure if that is what it supposed to do or. Good luck and happy buying. It is currently held in place with a piece of tape which seems to work fine.

The cord looks newer and has remains of a repair tag on it so I assume was replaced when repaired. It has a more modern needle on which is to small and does not properly clip into the head of arm. The claim that it is a rare model based on fact in trying to research it, I could not find single other example or even mention of this. This is a Sandwick-bowen model DS-2 with the super lower serial number of since I can't figure out how to change it 78 rpm say if that light turns on or not.

The housing does have some minor scratches and chips in finish one larger scratch on top of lid but over all it looks great. So up for offer is a very rare, vintage, electric, tube phonograph record player. I was able to find 2 examples of the model ds-1 but nothing on DS-2.

Multiple shipping options available. The 33 rpm light and red on front work. It is working and sounds good. As I said it is working and sounds good but can not figure out how to switch from 33 78 PMS.
