The Denon DP-51F Direct-Drive Automatic Turntable Record Player is a masterpiece of audio engineering, designed for audiophiles seeking an immersive vinyl listening experience. This turntable boasts a sturdy, high-mass aluminum die-cast platter, which ensures optimal speed stability and minimizes resonance, resulting in crystal-clear, distortion-free sound.
The direct-drive motor, renowned for its precision and consistency, powers the turntable. Its high torque ensures quick start-up and smooth, steady rotation, reducing the time between the record's groove and the speakers, thereby enhancing the overall sound quality. The motor is also quiet, ensuring that no unwanted noise disrupts your listening experience.
The DP-51F features a heavy, anti-resonance, high-density MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) chassis, which is sandwiched between two layers of damping material. This construction effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations, contributing to the turntable's exceptional sound clarity.
The turntable's S-shaped tonearm is a testament to Denon's commitment to detail. It is made of high-quality aluminum and is damped and adjustable for optimal tracking accuracy. The tonearm is also equipped with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, known for its warm, rich sound with a wide frequency range.
The Denon DP-51F also includes a built-in phono preamp, allowing for direct connection to any amplifier or receiver without the need for an external phono preamp. The turntable also features a detachable dust cover, a built-in LED light, and an automatic start/stop function for convenience.
In summary, the Denon DP-51F Direct-Drive Automatic Turntable Record Player is a high-performance, high-fidelity turntable that delivers exceptional sound quality, is built to last, and offers a variety of convenient features, making it a worthy addition to any audiophile's collection.

It measures 18 inches across the front by wide and is tall. The rosewood, high gloss finished case is nice condition with a couple of barely noticeable marks where lid closes down but no serious scratches or dings. The cartridge is used but I can't say how much.
It does have its 45rpm adapter included though. The cover is good with a couple of light marks and few scratches. Its quite heavy weighing 21 pounds before packing. Its in complete working condition with all lights and mechanisms functioning correctly.
From the estate of a local dentist and audiophile it is very nice turntable I wanted to keep but need money. No cracks or breaks with hinges that hold it open when its lifted. Sorry no original box or manuals. Great condition turntable with a karat 23r cartridge.
The bottom is very nice as sides there a thin hairline mark on 45 button hardly noticeable and one other scratch about 1/4 turntable looks like it has minimum use. Sounds good to my ear. Vintage Denon DP-51F direct-drive fully automatic turntable quartz micro processor controlled. Ships for 25 pounds.
